Surya M-294 Mystique Handmade Chocolate Brown Area Rug 6x9 Feet - Soft Bohemian Style Rug for Living Room, Bedroom & Home Decor

Purchased this to replace another Surya rug I've had for so many years. This is thinner/not as plush at all. I do not like the 2 tone color (my old one was a solid navy & just gorgeous). The price however was so much cheaper than my old one so I gave this a 3 instead of a 1.The rug is very plush, and the wool seems to be of good quality. The color is rich and the packaging/shipping was well done. Overall worth the price, however there was one issue.The rug looks nothing like the preview images. The outside border color is what you can expect from the entire rug, as the inner portion is so faint it might as well not even be there. I had to double check the label to make sure I had the same rug. I'll be keeping it, its a fine rug, but the advertising could be a bit more honest.I love this rug. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 not because of the quality of the rug, which is great so far, but because I've ordered two of these in the 5'x8' size, and received the wrong colour both times.My first order was a Terra Cotta, and I received a green rug instead. Amazon was great about replacing it with the ordered colour. They provided me with a free UPS pickup, and I had the right colour a few days later (photo attached.)This time, I ordered a Midnight Blue, but I've got what appears to be a blue-grey or light blue instead (photo attached.) A person has to be present for the UPS pickup which is hard for me to accommodate. I think the rugs need better colour labeling at the Fulfillment Centers; I can't really see any obvious colour labeling. This double-mistake has to be costing Amazon a lot in corrections! Doh.This is a beautiful, well made rug that is now gracing our den/media room. It is soft, beautifully designed and an overall glorious product.Of special note, Amazon's pricing was a full $150.00 cheaper than all of the online distributors and our local rug gallery. It arrived ahead of schedule, well-wrapped, and ready for installation. We're delighted!I am very disappointed in the rug coming with a hole poked through the roll of carpet. Who do I contact @ Amazon about the rug being damaged? I do love the rug. Maybe Amazon will give me a credit for the repair costs. Who do I contact about a credit for a repair?We moved to our new condo and ordered 8 of these carpets. They are all well made and no flaws. They do give off a lot of fuzz when new and require vacuuming often at first. They don't curl in the corners. No pads wanted or needed on our floors. Just perfect!I wasn't sure what to expect, but the carpet is soft and very dense. It appears to be very high quality compared to some other area carpets that I bought from Amazon. I highly recommend.I purchased this rug as a sample for the possible purchase of a larger rug. I ended up purchasing a 9 x 13 version of the same rug. These rugs are beautiful and well-made. It came double wrapped in very thick plastic and was well protected, which was good because the shipper simply left it on the sidewalk outside of my house. No damage.
